Liner notes from Gary: In addition to performing comedy, I also play harmonica (mostly blues) and guitar (mostly suck). I was recently lucky enough to join a musical group consisting of a couple of guys I've known for a long time (Jim Banner and Dan Addy). We are known as "The World's Shittiest Band." The band's attitude can be communicated quite simply: "We hate people. Without you....we're everything." Anyway, Jim and I write comedy together (the world's shittiest comedy writers) and we were working on a bit about The Stephen Grant Defense Fund Presents: Steven Grant Sings His Favorite Songs from the 60s. Featuring such hits as the Dave Clark Five's, "She's in Pieces, Bits and Pieces". And who could ever forget the Beatles classic, "I Wanna Throw Your Hand"? Etc. Then I came up with the first lyric idea for the recording you may be about to hear. So, Jim went home and expanded on my sickness and completed the "Ballad of Stephen Grant." Warning!
